The beginners yoga classes imply no previous yoga experience or specific abilities.
You can develop your own pace and go as far as you wish.It is an introduction to achieve basic yoga
poses (asanas), correct alignment of the pose, and learning the way of right breathing, which is
fundamental to all yoga styles. It is a very gentle exercise and building up your strength and
flexibility. The sequence will be structured into the Sun-Salutation, standing and sitting poses
as well as some finishings followed by deep relaxation.
Ashtanga yoga classes primary series
If you have already some yoga experience or you into other forms of practicing fitness,
than I can recommend you this level. It is an introduction into the classic Ashtanga Yoga Primary
series as it was taught by Krishna Patabhi Jois.
Here you will learn step by step the sequence (sun-salutation, standing-, sitting- and finishing
poses) including how to change from one yoga pose to the next one (Vinyasa flow) and how to connect
breathing and movement.
Another very important part of ashtanga yoga is the performance of internal locks (bandhas)
during the practise to preserve energy and gain a lightness of movement.
